These are the most delicious smashed turkey sliders smothered in sauteed onions and sandwiched between a piping hot biscuit straight from the oven. They will be a big hit and you’ll be making them weekly like me.

Add butter and a good drizzle of olive oil to a the pan and add the sliced onions. Add a pinch of sugar and 1-2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Heat on medium-low heat for 30 minutes or longer until browned.

Next, add the turkey meat to a large bowl along with a drizzle of Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Salt is optional because the sauce has a fair amount of salt. Mix well with clean hands and make 11 burgers. Add to a large plate.

Add olive oil to the second pan and heat. Then add 5 burgers at at time. Smash them down a little with a spatula. Then add a lid and cook for about 5 minutes, then flip and continue to heat until cooked through. Add the cheese to burgers and continue to cook on low heat. Adding a lid will move the process along more quickly.

Note: Always cook to safe internal temperatures. Use a instant-read thermometer.

In the meantime, while you cook the burgers, make the biscuits so they are hot when the burgers on done. Timing is everything.

Add the cooked onions to the pan with burgers and serve with the biscuits.

You will love these so much!
