I cannot get enough of this creamy and delicious meal. It’s so easy to toss together in minutes. And although you may be questioning the combination of tomato sauce and tahini, let me tell you it is amazing. It is reminiscent of a vodka sauce, very creamy and rich without all the dairy and fat.

Add some olive oil to the pan, toss in the chick peas and season. Add the sauce and tahini and heat on low. Add water as needed to loosen, 1-2 tablespoons.

Cook the pasta, according to box directions. I make half the box.

Add cooked pasta to the chick peas and mix everything together, add more seasonings as needed to taste. Add some pasta water to loosen.

Taste as always and be sure it’s to your liking. Top with fresh basil ribbons and enjoy!
