This is a nice twist on your traditional cranberry sauce. Here are the simple directions. Add the water and sugar to a pot and let this come to a boil. Then add in the cranberries and let them come to a boil. Lower the heat and keep the cranberries on a gentle boil. Add in the blackberries, ¼ cup pomegranate juice and splash orange juice. If you wish, you may add a tiny splash of cabernet wine.
Cook about 10 minutes or longer until it thickens, stir continually. Let this cool completely and even better to refrigerate overnight. This will have a nice flavor and compliment a roasted turkey or chicken.
Also, you may also put a few tablespoons over brie and gently heat in the oven until warmed.
