Set oven at 400 degrees. Use a shallow tray that has room for 6 donuts. Be sure to butter it and dust with flour, so the donuts don’t stick.
While the oven is heating up, put 2 level cups of all-purpose flour into a large bowl, add to that one teaspoon of baking soda and baking powder, and combine these ingredients. Then you may add in a 1/2 cup of cocoa powder and 1/4 cup of special dark chocolate powder, and a few sprinkles of ground sea salt. Combine these ingredients until everything is well incorporated.
In a separate bowl, add 2/3 cup vegetable oil (you can substitute olive oil or even coconut oil), 1/2 cup white granulated sugar, 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 teaspoons regular coffee (cooled), 1 cup of 2 % milk, and a heaping tablespoon of cream cheese. Mix these ingredients using a hand mixer for roughly 3-4 minutes.
Now combine your dry ingredients and your wet ingredients. Mix until the batter is creamy and has no lumps, roughly 3 minutes on high speed. Using a large spoon, spoon in the batter into each donut hole.
Place them in the oven for roughly 10-12 minutes. Loosen them around the edges with a knife and slide onto a cooling rack. Let cool for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, you can make your icing. You will need 2 cups of powdered sugar, a hint of vanilla, and a few drizzles of water. Once the icing has achieved the desired consistency, in the case, slightly runny, poor it over the donuts using a small spoon to control the amount. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with a big glass of milk! These are yummy!
