Nothing says summer quite like sweet, juicy and delicious mouthwatering peaches! The smell of this pie is reminiscent of my childhood spent at the beach with family and friends along the east coast. During the summer my mom would invite all of her college friends to spend the day with us. They were a lively bunch and so much fun to be around. Her friend would bring this pie every time and it was a hit. I never got the recipe from her. I was able to re-create the taste with this recipe on one of my many recipe development days. One delicious bite brings me right back to the beach house with mom and the girls sitting along the shore watching the tide come in. There was just something special about all of them. They also knew how to have fun and throw a good party. I definitely inherited that gene! Great memories…
