The key to making an exceptionally good tasting spinach shake is to add cocoa! It’s a trick that works every time. I have made hundreds of these shakes over the years. I typically call this my “close your eyes chocolate shake” for anyone who follows me on Instagram, because it looks really green but tastes really chocolatey. I like having this after a long workout and adding a protein powder or a superfood blend. I’ll add Dose & Co. Chocolate Collagen Powder or Longevity Cacao flavored superfood blend into the shake. Both equally good!

In a high-speed blender, add all of the ingredients except the ice. Blend until smooth, then add the ice and blend. I have a large capacity blender so it can handle a good amount. If yours is small like the Nutrabullet, do it in small batches.

To make this shake pretty, swirl some yogurt inside the glass at the bottom, then pour the shake. You could even add some chai seeds to the yogurt and mix first, so you have a pop of the black seeds. Remember we eat with your eyes too.

Note: I prefer to use a dark cocoa powder for this shake. It really enhances the chocolate flavor.
