  • garnish with more cinnamon on top and stir with a cinnamon stick

When you want to snuggle up by the fire with something warm, here’s the drink for you! My husband named this drink “Tastes like Rice Pudding Drink”, but without the rice or the pudding! LOL. It’s a warm and delicious drink that gets frothed from the shaking in a mason jar. This is your new bedtime drink. Here are the simple directions.

Start by measuring 8 ounces of 2 % milk in a microwave safe measuring cup. Add this to the microwave for 40 seconds or until very warm, but not too hot.

Mix in a dash of the following: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour into a mason jar, top with a lid and shake for one minute, until frothy. Alternatively, if you don’t have a microwave, heat milk on stove top until warm.

Next, pour ingredients into a mug. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon and stir with a food safe cinnamon stick or spoon. If you feel it could be warmer, heat in microwave for 20 seconds more.
