  • 1 medium-sized banana
  • 1 cups washed curly organic kale
  • 1 cup vanilla-flavored almond milk
  • 1 lemon squeezed
  • a drizzle of honey
  • ice cubes

Health benefits:
It has protein, fiber, vitamins A, C and K, among other nutrients.

Directions:
Wash the kale and remove stems. Add it to the blender along with the almond milk, banana, drizzle the honey, and freshly squeezed lemon. Then, add the ice and blend well.

Put it in a small glass and garnish it with a slice of lemon. This is good snack for after a workout or in the morning to get you going, after the coffee of course.
